Risk is important in making tree management decisions, but it should not be the only factor.

• work with property owners and managers to understand their goals and expectations,

• assist managers in deciding whether a Level 1 - Limited Visual Assessment, Level 2 - Visual Assessment or Level 3 - Advanced Assessment may be most appropriate to meet the goals,

• assess trees and other site factors, and

• provide recommendations to meet goals.
